Since June is coming up, I thought that I would share my planner and how I keep it organized. I normally sit down and plan the week ahead on Sundays, but since it was a long weekend I didn’t get around to it until Monday night. Would you want to see more posts like this where I share my tips and tricks/weekly spreads for my planners? Let me know in the comments!
I currently use the mini happy planner and just recently got the medium size discs because the smaller discs was not cutting it lately (been having a hard time flipping through the pages). I’ve been using this planner since the beginning of the year and I love it! The disc system is very versatile: it’s like a binder and a notebook, which I really like. I used to use washi tape in other planner spreads but since this is a mini, I mainly focus on color coordinating and stickers. I use a bunch of pens in my planner. Different colors means different events/things to do. So pink would be birthdays (and I also use it to mark when I should edit vlogs/start blog posts) and green would be for work, as you can see in the pic below) I have 3 packs of stickers that I currently use as well, all purchased from Michael’s with a 40% off coupon (always go on their website and find the coupons for the week you go! It’s always good to save a few bucks)
This is my monthly spread for June. As you can see there’s a few important events that I already put in my planner so I wouldn’t forget. I’m also going to Cancun later on in the month for my best friend’s bachelorette so I thought Mexico stickers would make this spread much more fun.
This is what this week’s spread looks like so far. This is pretty simple with a few stickers here and there but as the week goes by it’ll definitely get filled up fast. I know that there are going to be a bunch of errands I’ll have to do before the graduation and I also have to decide which day I start editing the end of May vlog so that it’s up in the beginning of June.
For me, it is easier to see a layout of what I need to do this week or this month, so I can allow myself enough time for everything: spending time with friends/family, errands, chores, etc. I’m also thinking of doing a vlog style plan with me in the future. Let me know if that’s also something you would want to see too! Also, let me know if you’re a fellow planner addict and which planning system you like best!
